BT FTTP and Unifi UDM Pro
Hi, I currently have BT Infinity service. On 1st Feb, I am getting FTTP installed and would like to make sure I am fully prepared. Looking for any advice incase I need to purchase any extra cables in advance.
My current setup is MasterSocket->Draytek Vigor 130->UDM Pro. I have the Draytek in bridge mode and the WAN port on the UDM set to PPPoe with the username, password and DNS servers. All works great.
I assume Open Reach will install a new "master socket" for the FTTP connection. Will I just be able to connect this to my Draytek or does it have an RJ45 that I can just connect direct to the WAN port on the UDM Pro and therefore remove the Draytek.
Many thanks in advance, Kenny

Re: BT FTTP and Unifi UDM Pro
There is no "master socket" with FTTP. Openreach will install an ONT just connect your UDM to that via RJ45 cable.
