I'm trying to set up a BT ID for my father's landline account so we can turn on caller display which is esssential with so many scams about these days.
We put in his account number, date of birth and are then told his account cannot be validated as there is neither an email address or mobile number associated with his account. I'm not surprised it probably predates both!
What is missing from the online journey is any suggestion of what to do next. Can anybody help please?
