Greetings.
I have a pair of BT mini connectors, one is the directly wired to the router, the second serves a BT Box.
I also have 3 TPlink PA4010P and a TPLink WPA4220 to extend the wifi.
This has worked very well and been stable for several months.
I have tried to add anothe PA4010P, and when I do so the whole pwerline network stops working.
WiFi connections still work.
The new TPLink is not faulty, as I can swap it with any of the others.
I have done many resets, hard and soft, repaired adapters etc. etc.
I have also tried 2 routers, a HH6 and a TPLink TD W9660, the result is the same.
Dos the MT mini adapter have a limit to the number of other adapters it can talk to?
Do I need to ditch the BT adapters for TPLink?
Confused!
Thanks,
Peter
Can’t answer the specific question, but I run a second TV box with TP Link adapters without any problems
Thank Budski.
Surprised that no-one has attepted to extend their powerline network more than that.
Anyway, I have now ditched the BT adapters, and gone completely TPLink.
I now have, connected to the main adapter, 5 wired, and 2 wifi adapters.
A configuration which BT adapters could not cope with.
Everything stable and fast enough to keep the BT UHD box happy.
I may talk to BT technnical when I have taken a few 'patience pills'!
