These are my current Speedtest results. Everything OK at the moment. I get edgy now at about 5 days!
Do you have a phone connected as I would expect noise on the line given how many errors you are getting. Have you tried a quiet line test from a corded phone? Not sure what master socket you have but trying the test socket and different micro filter should help determine if the problem is noise.
If there is noise on the line from a corded telephone, I suggest logging a phone fault with BT rather than a Broadband fault.
There is an article on the think broadband forum about someone with BT Broadband having similar issues though quite some time ago.
Have done quiet line test and it has a slight continuous very faint tone using a DECT phone but haven't tried the corded one recently.
My Hub is plugged in to an extension cable running from the main socket in the hall. Not ideal I know but it has always been that way.
You would need to do the quiet line test as soon as you notice the connection deteriorating. If it's only happening after several days then if there's anything there, it's going to be intermittent, so nothing to hear when it's performing well. Although if it's failing after a regular period of time as you indicate, then I doubt it's line noise as that would be constant or more random.
Indeed. I said earlier that I thought the performance was going off today but it's more than OK at the moment. I'll wait now until after Christmas when I might purchase a BT Smart Hub from Amazon for the hell of it, assuming any left.
