BT Sport App Crashing on Commercial Break - Firestick 4k

Is there still no fix to this? Been 2 months since the OP raised it... Getting a bit sick of it if im totally honest.

Like OP said it will freeze on the last commercial picture frame of the ad break but audio would still keep working.

This issue was fixed with an app update on September 9th @rbutler1987.
Select the cog in the top right corner within the app and confirm the app version shown at the bottom - it should mention version 1.1.4 as part of it.
