BT Sport - added to Sky box - cost?

Go to solution

So we have BT Sport on BTtv but also have a Sky box.

How much extra should it be to add the Sky box in addition to the current BT Sport subscription?

It used to be £5pm extra - called CS and they said £30pm extra now - although website says £20pm which seems to be full package option and not an addition.

I may be wrong but I don't think BT sell the "multiplatform" BT Sport anymore

Hi @ozsat   It has been my understanding that they are completely separate subscriptions so full (or discounted) price for each platform. I moved my BT Sport on Sky over to Sky because it was cheaper and included Mini boxes and HD. I imagine the £20 is just the Main box and SD only.

Sky want £27.50pm. As it is more for convenience it isn't really worth more than £5pm extra.

£20 is about the going rate. That's what I was supposed to be paying for BT Sport on Sky in SD. £6.50 extra per month if you want HD.

I managed to get it down to about £18 for BT Sport on Sky and in HD, after a decent amount of haggling.

Looking at the BT Consumer Price Guide the BT Sport Multi-Platform add-on is listed in the  BT Sports Products  we no longer sell section.
