BT TV Box Pro - Wired or wireless?

Go to solution

Hi,

I understand the delay on live sport using BT TV Box Pro is minimal (2-3 seconds) due to the fact it uses the multicast system. Will this still be the case if I use the BT TV Box Pro using a wireless connection? Or is it better to use ethernet cable connection in terms of minimizing delay?

It's always preferable to use a wired connection where possible.

Both options will have the same delay.

The delay is in the system before it gets to your router.
