BT TV; Is it worth the price increase?

I was in two minds which board to post this, in the end I posted it here as it's not a technical issue.

Food for thought maybe, especially considering the recent and planned ongoing price increases.

BT TV customer satisfaction report
BT TV generated complaints above the industry average in Q3 2019, according to the latest Ofcom report .

Ofcom received 12 complaints per 100,000 BT TV customers during this quarterly period.

How good is BT TV?
BT offers less number of channels than Sky TV or Virgin Media TV but includes BT Sports in all TV bundles.

Cheaper, when compared to Sky, but, BT TV is costlier than TalkTalk TV which also offers better customer service.

Clearly did zero homework when he wrote that 🤔

He used Q3 of 2019 for data ? Last update from Ofcom was 02/02/2021, It's reduced down to 10 per 100k, still above the industry average mind.

Included nope, BT Sports has always been an addon, even going back as far as with Total Entertainment, Entertainment Max or the more recent Max HD/4K packages it was a free addon but still an addon, not included, as of today 2 of the packages include BT Sports by default, they are 'Big Sport' and 'VIP'

Cheaper, when compared to Sky, but, BT TV is costlier than TalkTalk TV

Again incorrect, NowTV Entertainment pass is £9.99 per month from TalkTalk on top of the £4 base TV price, so to get NowTV Entertainment I would need to spend £13.99 per month, It's £12 from BT

YouView+ box is included as standard TV box which comes with 300GB storage and can record and store 300 hours of TV shows in standard resolution.

It's 500GB not 300GB, again not changed.

BT TV is costlier than TalkTalk TV which also offers better customer service.

🤐

TV deals start from £7.50 a month.

No they don't.
