BT TV box failing

We have a BT TV box Humax DTRT4000 but it has been seemingly breaking down slowly over the past week. 

It started to pause mid programme now and then and now the menu is so slow. Sometimes no programme details show on the guide, it is getting to be unusable.

We have tried unplugging and waiting, software is updated and we have reset it all to no avail.

I'm just wondering what to do now. We have the VIP package but with the way this is working, or not working as the case may be, it feels like anything but VIP.

Ring 0800 800 150 and speak with the Help team, see what they can do to help, might be the box is failing and needs replaced, which would be free of charge.
