Hi there - BT Virus Protect does not seem to be compatible with HP Chomebooks and their operating system - is any way around this?

Hi Les
Thanks for your reply. It’s an HP Chromebook 14 db0000na.
I had a look at the link you posted but couldn’t tell if it was there.

Mat
Try downloading it from the Google Play Store, you won't be allowed to if it's not compatible and you will receive a warning instead
Why do you need it. Chromebooks have an inbuilt virus protection provided by Google via the cloud.
Thank you so much for the advice. I have read it has built in anti virus. Let’s hope it works!
Thank you - you are right of course!
IT Works fine I have had a Lenovo Chromebook for several years and never had any Problem.IT is great for browsing the net. So when I don't need to fire up the PC and wait for it to boot up I just fire up the Chromebook and straight onto the web,
That’s good to hear.
I had a nice guy from HP support tell me all about the inbuilt virus protection. Good aftersales customer service!
Thank you for the advice - the in built virus protection seems to be working fine.
