I've received the package containing the modern and Hub. The package contained 2 boxes with ethernet cables (yellow and red tipped) and power units for modern and Hub.
I've also received a text message saying the Broadband has been switched on.
The problem is there is no cable to connect the modern to the telephone socket.
Does that get sent out separately?
I live in a new build who has been wired by BT.
If it is new build is it also FTTP that has been supplied? Is there anything like this in the property?
Thanks for replying. There is sn openreach box in the electrical cupboard. It has a grey ethernet cable attached to it?

Then you need to connect the home hub as shown below, and it should work, provided there is power on the Openreach box. That power unit supplied for the modem, may be needed.
As @Keith_Beddoe has shown above you don't connect to the telephone socket for FTTP. You connect to the ONT.
