Hi Folks,
Not sure if this is the right board - apologies in advance. The BTW tools are saying that we can only get ADSL. We were speaking with a local engineer who was surprised given the cabinet that is a few yards from our building has FTTC capabilities. What's the best way to go about trying to get someone to take a closer look?
To give some context, we are looking to complete some live streaming from the building and the current 1 MBPS of upload is an non-starter.
Thank you in advance for any help offered.

Do you have a phone line from BT, or another provider?
Is this for business or residential usage?
Hi Keith,
We previously had an number with BT. I can send over postal details in a PM if that helps & thank you for the reply.
I believe it was might of been a residential line in a commercial unit.
Please edit out your number, as this is a public forum. Your post does not go to BT.
You would need to have a working phone line with BT, before you could get the correct information.

Thank you, Keith. Edited out.
I assume you do not have a phone line at the moment?

No, a new line is being installed on Thursday the 23rd of July.
And is this from BT?
If that is the case, then once the line is active, the Openreach database will be updated, and you should be able to use your new phone number, o the BT broadband availability website, and see what cabinet you are connected to.
If its not fibre enabled, there is nothing you can do.
