Broadband cancelled without permission

A while ago we recieve a text msg from BT stating that someone is trying to take over our phone number. We immediately contacted BT and they said that they will put a stop to it.

Woke up on the 5th of may without any internet/broadband, called BT they said that we cancelled our plan even though we havent. They sent us a mini hub while we wait for the engineer to come. ( the lady on the phone said that once our telephone line is connected we will get our internet back)

Waited 14 days (19th of may) for a engineer to come and connect our broadband and telephone line. However when the engineer came he only connected our landline, he said that it was the only thing in the system.

Contacted BT straight away and they said that the only thing that was ordered was the landline even though they sent us a BT mini hub while we wait for the broadband.

Reordered broadband they said that it will be connected on the 4th of June. Got a text on the 27 of may saying that the order was cancelled, we phoned BT because we didnt cancel it, they said that we have to phone again in 2 days because the order is in process and that they cant do anything about it.

Called on the 29th of may we had to reorder everything again and that we now have to wait till the 12th of June for somebody to connect our broadband

Is there any way to make service activation quicker? Considering that it wasnt our fault

We already have the smart hub 2
