After several engineer visits we have established there are no problems on our line, however broadband drops out at least 4 or 5 times a day. The hub remains blue so no indication that broadband isn't working.
The most recent engineer suggested the speed we were getting was too high at 100% capacity of the line and should be set to 85% to reduce noise on the line. She contacted the call centre and they reduced to 85%. We had a stable connection for 3 days with reduced but adequate speeds. We noticed the speed had gone back up to previous levels yesterday and now it's dropping again.
She also said this was a PPP fault?
We live in a remote area so are 2.5kms away from the cabinet.
Any ideas of anything we can try to restore the stability of the service
