Broadband speed dropped from 60Mbps to just over 20

I followed some advice and 2 days ago checked wiring for interference, moved AC wires away from the hub to BT socket wires, checked the connection in the BT faceplate socket, switched off the powerline adaptors, restarted the hub and the Line Attenuation has dropped from 40 to 15 dB but Noise Margin has gone up from 9/6 to 20/18, and data rate has gone down from 60to25Mbps and now to 22.4 as shown. Until recently I was getting around 60Mbps. Any suggestions?

Re: Broadband speed dropped from 60Mbps to just over 20

Is there any line noise. Dial 17070 option 2 should be silent and best with corded phone

the drop in connection speed and increase in noise margin is the result of all the changes you have been making involving switch hub off and on probably quite a few times as you check the results of each change

this will recover automatically provided line has no noise and remains stable with no drops in connection

No line noise at all. I will wait a week and see how it recovers
