I am moving home and was wondering if anyone know how long it would normally take to get BT broadband  installed if there is an active BT line on site at my new house.

If there is a line and it's stopped, around 5-10 days
If there's a line working with another provider, a takeover takes around 14 days
If there's no line or none detected due to being off for a while, depends on the available appointments with Openreach on that area.
