Hello
After much deliberation I have decided to get a smart phone (the BT Galaxy A12). I have a question - I understand that using the phone at home I would connect to my BT wifi and so it would cost me nothing - but if I went on holiday and connected to a local BT hotspot, does that use up some of the data allowance or would that be free as well?
Thanks

Your allowance is used when connecting to the 4G or 5G network.
If you're connected to your home/friends Wi-Fi, the free hotspots or another free access, it won't use your allowance in any way, which means it won't cost you.
