Bt Wi Fi Disks help.

Hi guys.

Ok ill try to explain this as best as I can I did confirm with BT that you can use the ethernet port on the disk to connect other devices or extend an existing network.

I have a workshop which has a cat 6 connection to the house & I was told earlier that I could connect that cat6 network to one of the wifi disks which is wirelessly connected to my Smart Hub 2 so I tried it with an Apple Express in the house which worked fine.

I then went down to the workshop & connected everything up down there & to start with it worked fine.

Here's where it all went wrong I came back to the house & sited the Wifi disk where I wanted it connected it as before but now every time I connect the ethernet cable the disk starts flashing blue sometimes it flashes red then back to flashing blue i know this is the disk searching for the Smart Hub 2 its connected to.

Once it starts doing this the only way to stop it is to reconnect it back to the hub.

Now in the workshop I use another Smart Hub 2 with the adsl port I had from before we had full fibre installed the engineer that installed said to hang onto it & use it.

I have changed the ip address on this hub so it doesn't conflict with the full fibre hub if you connect it directly to the hub it works great the problem seems to be connecting it to the disk.

Is the disk now trying to register with the second hub?

It didn't the first time I tried before I re sited the Wifi disk or was that just lucky?

Thanks in advance guys.
