Bt8600 handset blocked callers

Why does my handset ring even the the caller is blocked?

I thought it would just stay silent.

Perhaps caller display is not active on your line, or if not working, so the phone cannot tell if its a blocked number?

On the handset it says the call is blocked as its ringing.

You may have to speak to the product helpdesk.

To be honest, blocking calls is a waste of time, there would be too many. You simply need to make sure all your contacts are stored in the phone, and then use the "announce" option for all other calls. That works 100% for spam calls.

I assume it works the same as the BT4600 that I have.
