Cannot record Eurosport

I have the BIG SPORT TV package and all works fine apart from the fact that Eurosport channels will not record at all. I can watch these but I get an error ( could not record/check your connection) message when I playback.  Presume I am supposed to be able to record Eurosport?

Any suggestions please?

I'm on VIP with a BT Pro box and can record Eurosports.

If you give some more details someone on the forum might be able to have a go at giving some advice. E.g.

What box are you using?

What happens when you record a Eurosport channel while watching it; when you record while watching another channel; when you record by setting up the timer etc. 

Are you able to record SKY sports or BT Sport channels?

yes if you can watch a linear channel from the EPG  you should be able to record it,

possibly an EPG data mismatch so I would suggest restarting your BT Tv box  ( ie soft reset holding the front BT button on the box for about 8 seconds so it restarts) .
