Enhanced BT Player not working

I'm confused @Andy_W - you're saying that enhanced player IS working, and standard player ISN'T, and you're suggesting the fix to enhanced player is what has now broken standard player?

When you said it wasn't working Friday night, was that standard player, or enhanced?

The standard player. The French matches have never been available in enhanced video. All I'm saying is it seems a bit of a coincidence that when the enhanced player gets fixed, the standard player stops working. I am watching in Safari, which had an Apple update this week, so I can't rule out the possibility that that's where the problem lies. No problems on my iPhone app.

Ah OK. Now I understand.
No - they're completely independent players from different suppliers, using different streams. They were both updated this week though.
There are known issues with Safari - I don't have the details though. I believe other browsers on a Mac should work fine, if that's an option for you.

Thanks Darren. Just loaded Firefox and I can get both standard player and enhanced video (French matches offering standard player only).

I can live happily with this workaround for some time. It happened one time before, a couple of years ago. Eventually there Safari glitch was corrected. Hopefully this current glitch will be corrected before too long.
