Hi - We're considering moving to BT with the hope of having seamless wi-fi from the hub at the front of the house through solid brick walls in the house, the garden then in the garden office 15m across the garden.
My plan so far is to go with Full Fibre 100/Smart Hub2 then buy 2x Complete wifi discs from Amazon and having one in the back kitchen and one in the garden office but using our existing ethernet cable for backhaul to the hub from the garden office as I doubt just placing a Wi-Fi connected disc at the other end of the garden will work even with a disc inside the back of the house.
Does this make sense? I read that the Whole Home can do a hard wire backhaul but not Premium Whole Home, but how about the Complete Wi-Fi discs. Is an ethernet backhaul straight forward with this one? Thanks, John
