Connect the BT controller to TV

Can anyone help? We can't get the BT controller to connect to a new Hitachi smart TV. We have tried using the code 2424 but the TV doesn't turn off as it should. Any ideas would be greatly welcomed.

Hi @Si1656  welcome to the community and thanks for posting. Hitachi TV's are now manufactured by a company called Vestel it might be worth trying their code 2811.
