Crikey it must be Christmas, good result!!
I have just took delivery of the 600 kit only to find it is the 'wired' version. I got onto BT who have offered to send out an engineer with a wi-fi disc at no cost and install it free of charge. Love BT 😍

Not sure how they made that mistake, if you specified the hotspot 600?
Which BT Home Hub do you have, as the wifi discs only work with the Smart Hub 2.
You couldn't make it up!
Are you absolutely sure it is just the wired version, the WiFi hotspots also have 2 Ethernet sockets and can be used wired or wireless.

That should be fine, but whether it will work, is a different matter, as it may need to be located in an adjacent room, so it can pick up the existing wifi from the home hub.
BT should have sent this one.

That's not the one I received. They muffed up (again).
Surely the engineer will get it up and running. Lucky I only live in a smallish mid terraced house, not Buckingham palace.
Its a case of locating the disk somewhere between the home hub`s location, and the room with the problem. It needs to be plugged into the mains. Hopefully the BT supplied representative will be able to sort it out, otherwise you can do it yourself via the app.
From what they said I will receive three discs......hopefully this will stop my daughters whining.
