Hi folks.
Anyone have any advice (if that is the word) on the time span of notification of DV migration & the 'big day'?
All geared up and nowwhere to go!
As a matter of interest I live in rural NI and our road is only one for miles with FTTP! Lucky aren't we? (Dont know why mind but not complaining)
As DV is a new service there is no rule of thumb as yet.
I was wondering this too, I live in Coleraine NI and have a FTTP connection. I received a letter and email from BT last week saying my line was being changed over from copper to DV but that they'd be back in contact 'soon' regarding a switch over date. Was wondering how long from advice letter to the actual switch over?
In my case based in Suffolk it was one week (7 days) between first notification by email and actual switch. Switch took place two days ago.
Thanks, appreciate the reply.
Its been 10 weeks since I had letter informing me about moving to DV and its still not been done. So time scales do seem to be a erratic.
Had email last night, 24/06/21 to say migrating on 01/07/21.
Lets see how it goes.
Have both DV phone & Adapter!
I got the exact same email and date of 1st July too. If you want it quicker, I was able to go in last night and change my activation date to today lol. Mine is currently in the process of changing over.
