Hi everyone,
I have an engineer visit booked for next week to install Fibre Broadband in my flat and I got an email from BT saying that I need to ensure that I have access to the BT connection point, which is probably in a locked cupboard in the hallway.
I called my property manager and they said that the cupboards use FB2 keys and that all engineers should carry them, so they shouldn't have any issues accessing the connection point.
Can anyone confirm that Openreach engineers do carry FB2 keys? I tried to search in this forum, but the only similar question I found is from 2014 and doesn't have a definite answer.
Thanks.

Thanks @pippincp . They said that they don't carry them
Time to get back to the property manager and ensure one is available.
You can always get your own FB2 key from Amazon for less than £2.00.
Thanks, that's what I ended up doing. Just hope that the key I ordered will work. Read from some reviews that sometimes they don't work because they are not cut quite right. I guess I'll find out when it arrives tomorrow.
