Emails queued

Sometimes I send an email and it looks like it has sent. Later I was flicking through emails and a box appeared saying emails queued. I had no notification that it had not gone through.

Perhaps an extra box (maybe there is somewhere) which when clicked on would show emails in queue.

Kind regards

Re: Emails queued

How are you accessing your email, is it with an email client/app or are you using webmail which is accessed by using a web browser and on type of device are you using?

Re: Emails queued

Hi. I use Chrome browser and BT.com as my homepage. I login to email from the drop down menu. I sent around 3 or 4 emails and thought they had gone through as I did not get any error message. I was flicking through my emails a few days later and somehow clicked on something which brought up a page showing queued emails. I tried sending from there but nothing worked so I deleted them. I cannot find the queued page again. Hope this helps.

Re: Emails queued

I have never come across or heard of a "queued" page or folder on BTMail.

Is it possible that you had clicked on the "Draft" folder? This folder stores copies of any emails that you are working on and were auto saved. It can have multiple copies of the same email depending on what your auto save time is set at and the speed at which you complete the email.

Do you know if the emails that you thought you had sent were sent?

Are they showing in your sent folder?

Re: Emails queued

Definitely not in drafts.

They don't show up in sent folder.

I forgot to mention in first reply to you that I was using a One+ android phone.

Its a complete mystery.

Could it be that the company I was sending them to were very busy and somehow I got a queued message from BT?

Re: Emails queued

It will not be that the company you were sending to was busy. Normally if the recipient can not receive an email for what ever reason, the email would be bounced and the sender would receive notification from their email service, in your case BT, that the email could not  be delivered.

As far as I am aware it would not place then into a "queued" folder.

Have have asked the moderators to see if they can supply any information about what may have happened.

If they can they will post on this thread.

Re: Emails queued

Hi,

Thank you for your help. It has never happened before and apart from these 4/5 emails I have not had any trouble since.
