Error messages 'default gateway' and 'proxy settings'

I am experiencing daily shortish cut offs with two regular error messages "default gateway is not available' and 'windows could not detect this network's proxy settings''   Windows 10, fibre to the premises, BT hub, ethernet to power line adapter to ethernet to pc. Appears not to impact my mobile or Ipad - both on wifif to the BT hub.

Any easy but successful solutions please?
