Ethernet Cable or Mini Wi Fi discs

I recently moved into a new (old) house.  I have the 150 MB fibre broadband.  The Wifi speed upstairs in my house is poor, about 20MB.  

Will it be better to install ethernet cables or buy the BT Discs?
