FTTP SLOW DOWNLOAD SPEED

Hi, 

I've just upgraded to the fibre 900 and should be getting around 800mbps hard wired. But I'm getting 40mbps but my upload is 109mbps.

Im using cat5e wires that have been given to me. I've made a call but bt have said that they'll send poweline adapters and have to deal with 100mbps. 

Anyone got any ideas??

Just done a speed test and got 160mbps download and 740mbps upload???

What are you using to tet your speed?

I've used a variaty of sites and equipment. 

I used my laptop with the cat5e ethernet cable to the router and I'm getting 45mbps download speed.

I've used my ps4 wired and I get around 45 mbps too.

I've used three different places to do the tests which bt told me to use.

Fast.com

Speedtest.net 

And I was told to just type in speed test and click run test at the top of the page. They all give me the same result around 45 download and 100 upload. Sometimes the upload goes to 700mbps or 700kbps.
