FTTP first day

Just had 900mb FTTP installed but only seeing 400mb on most tests

Anyone else had the same situation and does it speed up off it's own accord like the engineer says or do I need to get in touch with BT?

Cheers

Is 400mb connection speed shown in stats?

1000Mb would be shown in stats with an FTTP connection.

Re: FTTP first day

I went live on tuesday with FTTP and the BT fibre 900 service.

My speeds have been up and down, all over the place.

I've reset my whole ubiquiti network and reconfigured it. I use a USG-PRO-4 as my router.

Strangely ive noticed IPv4 speed tests with thinkbroadband are now okay, but when doing it on IPv6 its about 300mbps 40mbps up.

But yeah i've noticed it up and down all over the place, not sure if it takes a few days to settle?

Re: FTTP first day

There shouldn't be any need for the connection to settle.

Re: FTTP first day

So I have tested at 900mb a few times now, I'm basically not seeing 900mb until late in the evening
