Not sure if anyone can help or even just offer some sympathy with my FTTP install. Here is the progress so far:
18th of May, placed on order to upgrade from VDSL to FTTP - great!
1st of June, engineer scheduled to run fibre to my property, install CSP and ONT - sadly he didn't show, and didn't call either 😞
5th of June, engineer showed up (great guy and very helpful may i add) and ran the fibre to my property, installed CSP and ONT. Sadly looks like there was a fault in the line somewhere as i have a red LOS light on the ONT
23rd of June, BT phoned to say the faulty splitter has been replaced but it looks like your ONT or CSP splice is faulty, so we have booked an engineer for the 20th of July!
Now i know these are tough times but waiting another month - really.
What concerns me is that if the home engineer does come out, and actually tells me there is still a fault with the line, il be going around in another circle.
I've tried power cycling the ONT etc but to no avail, so it seems there must be a problem with the line somewhere still?
I guess there is nothing i can do but wait?
