On 26/06 we upgraded from FTTC to FTTP 150. Everything was going great. On 10/07 we decided to upgrade further to the 900 service. Ever since then our speeds have been very unstable and fluctuate from 400mbs one minute to 29mbs the next. We have never got anywhere close to the min speed of 455mbs.
We spent an hour on the phone with Technical Support who couldn’t diagnose the issue so arranged for an engineer to visit us today. The engineer has carried out various tests today and is totally stumped. He said that line is showing as receiving 1gb to the box, he has changed all cables and router but nothing seems to fix it. He cannot see a reason why we cannot receive a stable connection.
Anyone got any idea what the issue can be? All BT did was increase our speed when we upgraded to 900, all the cables/ router etc have not be replaced, so surely it must be something BT’s end?
Have a read of this thread.

Yeah I had noticed it. Doesn’t seem to give an answer on a fix though.
Rumour has it the fix is due in September. Wouldn't hold your breath though.
