I have BT Broadband at two locations:
1. Full FTTP via overhead fibre cables at a remote location in Wales which is superb.
2. FTTC at a semi rural location in Haigh near Wigan. The cabinet is three miles away and the overhead copper wires go through some trees to our property which are prone to wind damage. This can be unreliable as a result and frequently drops out.
My question:- I can see fibre cables (unconnected?) on the poles on the nearby B road but on checking with Openreach but they have no plans to roll full fibre any time soon. Basically why not?
