Re: Fibre 1 to Fibre 2 Regrade

Your uptime is only 5 hours, you possibly have a line fault and getting dropouts. Is there any noise with a quiet line test on 17070 preferably done with a wired phone.

Re: Fibre 1 to Fibre 2 Regrade

according to stats you have 51/14mb connection with an attainable of 58mb

yes you need to remove front of master to get to test socket  if front just unclips the test socket is visible but if you need to take out 2 screws then test socket here by black arrow

Re: Fibre 1 to Fibre 2 Regrade

I am now plugged into the test socket. Internet and phone back on working fine. Still at 45down 11up.

Inside box there are 2 wires doing nothing one black one green. 1 orange wire terminated in B. 1 white wire in A.

Does that sound correct?

Re: Fibre 1 to Fibre 2 Regrade

yes especially as everything is working

can you post new stats as you had better connection speed previously

bear in mind the speeds quoted by BT are connection speeds not download/throughput speed so no point in continuing to quote the lower download speed as they are not guaranteed
