Yep first thing I checked, if I have not been put on dv calls then my phone line should still work as the £39.99 says it includes line rental is that right?

No line rental is included even if you have broadband with no landline service included.
What products does MyBT say for your account? www.bt.com/mybt
Have you recently upgraded and selected to not have a landline service?

All sorted bt had cocked up order and didn't transfer phone over now on dv with a couple of free phones for my trouble should we have kept our existing number?

Thank you for posting back to let us know the issue has been fixed. You should have been able to keep your number when you were switched over to digital voice.
