Re: Fibre rollout

In our street they started the work in November 3rd 2020 and went live 12th January 2021. I was connected 25 March.

Re: Fibre rollout

No one knows how long the rollout will take except Openreach themselves.

I registered my interest in September 2020, had an email in November 2020 saying my property is part of the fibre rollout.

I noticed openreach installing equipment on the nearby pole in January. Feb 6th I placed my order and March 12th I was connected.

It depends when they manage to get everything done in your area.

All you can do is do regular checks on BT's site.

Re: Fibre rollout

@johnhorton88This is the only one to check as it must appear here as WBC FTTP before an order can proceed.

Enter your post code here and then scroll down, a form should come up.

I filled that in last year then received an email like this not long after

https://i.imgur.com/lIEQ8F9.png

This was sent to me on 10th November.

February 6th my order was placed and March 12th I was connected.

Re: Fibre rollout

@johnhorton88 ,

A word of warning:- Your .png file link created havoc on my older iPad mini, iOS 12.5.2.
All sorts of irrelevant adverts, etc ,etc,... Screen greyouts. No damage done😊.
Don't know what it will do to latest iOS version on new devices.
Make sure that you scan .png files before sending!

I dare not open that link on my Windows 10 pc.

Re: Fibre rollout

No! They are a wast of valuable time. More fiddling while Nero burns.
