Your order needs placed manually with a change of SLT, BT have given out several speed boosts over the years, downgrading allows some customers to keep the speed boost.

Ring BT, speak with the 'Easy Assist' team, they can replace the order like for like and change the SLT, it will renew your contract but going from your post, you've just renewed anyways.
