We currently have by halo 1 with the free full fibre 100 upgrade, in the past ten days I have seen city fibre installing ducting/cables and I was just wondering how long it might take before I can get full fibre to my home and does anyone know it its possible to upgrade from full fibre 100 to the max fibre package?
With a very few exceptions (If you have an ECI ONT), all full fibre provisions are capable of 900Mbps.
Put your address in the checker https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL and it will reveal if it is available to you.
Not sure of the relevance of City Fibre
City fibre is a separate company , any service you took with them would have nothing to do with your current service ( BT and Openreach )…you state you already have full fibre but are asking how long before you can get full fibre to your home ?, if your question is how long before you can get City Fibre, you would need to ask them , you cannot ‘upgrade’ from one to the other, you obviously can take City Fibre and cancel your BT service , if that’s what you want, but taking City Fibre in itself doesn’t affect your BT service, if you have Openreach FTTP and want better speed than 100Mb , that should be easily accomplished as OR FTTP usually can provide 900Mb if that’s what is wanted ( as stated some old ECI equipment may not be quite that fast, but faster than 100 )
@iniltousIt's not "some" ECI equipment, it is all ECI equipment that is unable to deliver 900Mb service on the Openreach network..
