Getting BT Sport

I'm a broadband customer but currently get my tv via a freeview box/recorder. I have a samsung smart tv also.  My question is, do I just need to pay the BT Sport subscription to get BT Sport through my tv or will I need the BT box , and are there any extra charges?  I just find all the options and info on the website a tad confusing.

Re: Getting BT Sport

As you have a Samsung TV it might support the BT Sport app, have a look and see if you can install it on the TV.

Although at the time of posting you'd be better opting for BT Sport on BT TV, It's currently half price for 3 months (£7.50 then £15 from month 4) where as the app has no offer.

BT Sport on BT TV will get you a brand new Youview box on loan, you can then watch it on your TV and it includes everything the app access includes, you'll also be able to pause, rewind and record Freeview content via your aerial, you get catchup and other on demand services, the box also supports Netflix, Amazon Prime and others.
