Today I started getting download errors on POP3 mail in Thunderbird.
I just got one "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop.outlook.com responded: Server Unavailable. 21"
but have also been getting "The RETR command did not succeed..................... Mail server pop.outlook.com responded: Server Unavailable. 21"
I've never had these before.
If I try downloading messages again sometimes it works, sometimes it gives the same error. Because it sometimes works and downloads the same message set without giving the error when it previously had given the error, I am inclined to think this issue is caused by BT not Thunderbird. That is it seems sometimes the server is available and sometimes it isn't. Is this something that BT should look into?
