You have a connection speed of 22Mb. How are you testing your speeds. wired or wireless?
Have you turned off smart setup?

Yes at this moment it is fine but it fluctuates i have ran the speed test on both wired and wireless conmections. The reason the problem has come to light is through the use of my PS4 Ping rate spiking massively making it unplayable and also big drops in speed which is affecting my partners working from home.
When the ping spikes i run a test of speed and its barely registering 2 mbps, i ran the tests through speedtest.net

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

Yes smart setup is notorious for causing issues. Leave it turned off.
A cheap corded telephone is the best diagnostic tool you can have as line noise accounts for over 90% of most broadband problems. If you detect noise on the line it's a line problem not a broadband one.
Line issues generally get fixed quicker.
