Having 2 broadbands

I'm having BT broadband installed soon and, as of now, have Virgin Media TV, telephone, and broadband. I need to keep the Virgin Media stuff and have BT broadband as well. When BT installs the new broadband connection, will it drop my present provider, which I need to keep?

No, with Virgin you would need to cancel with them yourself rather than the gaining ISP doing it for you, so unless/until you cancel, both will be active.
