I received my first email on 1st November and my Smart Hub about 10 days after. Since then nothing except emails about how to return unwanted kit. When might all this happen?

When will what happen ?, if you are being switched to Digital Voice , you can use your new router straight away , ( obviously your wireless devices will need to use the new log in credentials ) when the copper phone line goes off , the phone port on the router should then be used for telephony…..doesn’t the communication advising you of the change to DV also say when the changeover is to take place ?
No date has ever been mentioned. I have the Smart Hub up and running, a new phone ready to plug in and the necessary connections to enable my existing wired telephone extensions. I was wondering what others had experienced.

And just now a text reminding me to return the Smart Hub.
That's probably just a reminder that equipment supplied free by BT no longer becomes the property of the customer when the initial minimum term is up; it now has to be returned if you leave BT.
Sorry, can't help with DV.
Update. 3 months after initial notification I have now received 9 days notice of a 48 hour window to change.
I note with interest I am advised to keep a fully charged mobile for emergencies and also the latest email refers to a burglar alarm being connected rather than the actual burglar.
Update. Window narrowed to 24 hours. Sometime tomorrow up to midnight.
It’s DV Switchover Day. Three identical texts from BT at 8am reminding me of this.
At 8.32 I get a text asking me to Confirm I want to proceed with options for more information and help for vulnerable users.
At 8.40 I check telephone. DV and traditional phone both have dial tones. Only the DV can make calls. Good DECT coverage in my odd shaped house. All done.
Good to hear a positive experience.
