Recurrent loss of internet channels (this would include Sport!)
I get regular loss of internet channels, approx. every month, which I believe to be a result of BT upgrades to the FTTP modem.
Last occurrence 5th Apr 2021.
This is the fourth this year!
The temporary fix is to reset the modem, as described in many other posts here.
The permanent fix will be when BT resolve their modem updates such that the modem resets properly after the update.
Come on BT, help us out here and find a fix!

Thank you for the update.
As this is a known issue with a fix expected soon, might I suggest that your help dask staff are briefed on the situation AND on the correct temporay fix!
Every time I talk to them they want me to reeboot my router
THEN
They want me to factory reset my router!
THEN
They suggest getting an Engineer out when every thing fails.
I look forward to the "fix" but will not hold my breath!
