IPv6 DNS problems

Every so often apps on my android devices take 30 seconds to a minute to connect to the internet when on my home wifi and everytime this happens I run a IPv6 test and see it fail like below

Is there anyway of fixing this, turning off IPv6, or changing the DNS? I've looked through my Smart Hub settings and settings on my android devices but they both have very few IPv6 settings.

Re: IPv6 DNS problems

BT don't use Ipv6 for DNS, they get Ipv6 addresses via Ipv4 DNS.

Re: IPv6 DNS problems

Ok, but I don't know how that helps me fix this problem. When I'm not having connection problems the test looks like this test.jpg

And switching to mobile data also gets rid of the problem, so something is going wrong either at the router or beyond.

Re: IPv6 DNS problems

It's not possible to change DNS settings on the hub, but you could try setting Google DNS servers on your devices to see if that helps.

Re: IPv6 DNS problems

I tried that, you can only change the IPv4 DNS on the android devices I have and it does nothing.
