Increase number of rings

Hallo there, can anyone help? It's about a BT 4600 Quad Digital Cordless Telephone Answering Machine. I want to increase the number of rings. The answer phone kicks in after 6 rings which often isn't long enough for its owner (who's 92) to get to it. I have the User Guide but can't see anything there that's useful. With many thanks.

Page 56 of the user manual, you can set up to 10 rings.
