Is my Samsung galaxy s20 Fe locked to bt?

I've just ordered a galaxy s20 Fe from BT on contract, I was wondering if the phone would be locked? I can't get any live support help, basically I've ordered the phone for myself to upgrade, wanted to put my Vodafone SIM in the Samsung as I have unlimited data on it and let the missus use my bt SIM in her phone, the most recent forum I could find related to this was from last year and thought the list might be outdated on which phones are locked/unlocked.

The last update I could find suggested that BT/EE still sell contract phones locked to network

OFCOM rules abut only selling unlocked phones is not due until December 2021
