Hello,
Cud someone plse tell me if there is nowa charge for choosing to have a PAYGO Calling Plan on my landline please? 🤔
Solved! Go to Solution.
Pay as you go costs £5/month plus cost of calls.
700 minutes costs £7.31/month so for extra £2.31 you get up to 700 minutes of 01, 02, 03 and mobiles.
Thanks for clarifying that David.
Because you can now get a broadband only line ( so not just no calls included, there isn’t even a dialtone ,so no emergency calls, no telephone number allocated and no way to receive incoming calls either ) officially it’s £5 cheaper than a broadband line with dialtone and the ability to make and receive calls , then arguably it’s £5 for the basic PAYG calls plan, because that’s minimum telephony option, but £5 is not really the cost of the PAYG plan, the PAYG plan is free, £5 is the the difference between a telephony and broadband bundle price and broadband only price ,it’s a distinction without a difference, but PAYG is ‘free’, dialtone now isn’t.
£5 for new customers, discounted to £2 for existing customers, as previously mentioned you can have broadband only with no voice element and not have to pay the charge.
Thx for reply Richie but just to let you know that existing customers get the Paygo calling plan free of charge not for £2. Just got a good deal via calling Options for Fibre 1 and calling plan. 😊👍
