FTTP and FTTC are both fibre packages but I assume your post 'I am getting fibre' suggests FTTP (FIBRE TO THE PREMISES) but are you also getting digital voice for phone? If getting DV then master socket is not used as phone connects to hub but if no DV then phone will need the master socket.
